Cosa Nostra Poem by S.A. Blair

Cosa Nostra

No words need pass
Nor actions done,
A twinkling eye’s enough for fun.
A stifled laugh
Or keeping mum,
A shared joke or pun.

You read my mind
I read yours too,
You know what I’m about to do.
A subtle hint
Or cryptic clue,
Only for you.

Two’s family
Three’s a crowd
I will smooth your furrowed brow.
I read you clear
Your signal loud,
A husband proud.

Nothing done
And nothing said
I lead you by the hand to bed.
Just as on
The night we wed
Our bodies fed.

We are one
With me inside
We move like the tide.
Like the first night
You were my bride
Bona fide.

Those secrets shared
Upon the wings
Of love and all it brings
My heart it jumps
My soul doth sing
For our thing.
