In the cosmic tree of life I remember
How you and I get to live forever
We are all like the leaves on a giant oak tree
Connected by stems to a single trunk if you look and see
Bounded together by a common principle
Buried deep within our genetic particle
Like any tree we rely on sunlight, water and air
We all come together by single, triplets or pair
Like a tree our struggles and hardships will bear fruit
In life there would always be lies so we could tell the truth
If you look at the stars they are distant from one another
But like the leaves on a tree they're all connected to each other
The distance between them is to prevent collision
For they are gases and elements that causes attraction
Some of the leaves are on the top and some are on the bottom
Someday some of the leaves will eventually fall
For God had listened and answered your call
We could all learn so much from our nature
By reading books of knowledge and the scripture
A person planted in this world only to be harvested in the end
To be the stars in the heavens on the day we ascend
