The colour of one's skin is immaterial, what matters is whether one is a worthy individual. Your employment of appropriate similes to drive home the essence of the poem is quite poetically remarkable. A lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing Abrahaley. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

In deed, what matters is the substance, not color or race. Excellently written poem. Keep it up Abrahaley! Thumbs Up!

A twist on the 'rose by any other name' concept. Tweaked (I believe) to be relevant to racial equality. Artfully done Abrahaley. Thanks for sharing
