Cottontail Poem by Sheri Green

Cottontail

I am a little cottontail
With ears so very long
To help me hear the sounds
Of the beautiful birdies song

I am a little cottontail
With a tiny cute pink nose
To help me smell the scent
Of the blooming brier rose

I am a little cottontail
With two little eyes that shine
That help me find my way
To the delicious dandelions

I am a little cottontail
With a fluffy tail that's white
To help you catch sight of me
As I scurry into the night
