Counting Cards Poem by Mellisa Salazar

Counting Cards

I know you have my number

But do you know my name

Counting cards, to tell my stories

If you know me, that's my game

You never stop to say goodbye

Your words are full, your actions lies

So don't ask me if I love you

When the tears that come and grab me

Pour from crocodile eyes
