Counting Game Poem by Brian Hinckley

Counting Game

Four pages written
and nothing to show.
My heart in black ink,
when reality is even darker.

Five sponsors
on his shirt.
Too many names for
one man.

Six ounces in this mans drink,
he will be thirsty again.
Too small to enjoy,
he should thank free refills.
