Her Face Poem by Brian Hinckley

Her Face

Rating: 5.0

Her face
shining in the dead of night.
Her soul
shining to keep the light.

She brings me back
from the edge I walk.
She brings me back
with a simple talk.

Her eyes
shining across the miles.
Her heart
shining through all the trials.

She brings me back
to a place I need.
She brings me back
where I don't bleed.

Does she know
what she's done?
Does she care
that I feel?
Can she know
that the light has won?

Great write Brian. I liked the ending where you say that it was her inner and outer beauty that captured you and brought you to her presence (where you don't bleed) . Top marks! -Michael
