Countless Tears Poem by beautiful imperfection

Countless Tears

Rating: 5.0

See these tears
watch them fall,
they're all because
of this stupid wall,
I hide behind
so no one can see,
what's going on
inside of me.
I show my joy,
I hide my pain,
and try to make it
through the rain.
I thought my mask was gone
and I was truly free,
but I guess I was wrong,
it's forever captured me.
These walls have trapped me,
I can't escape,
before I know it,
I will break.
I feel so lonely,
hopeless and afraid,
I wish things could still be fixed
with just a simple band-aid.
But I have quickly realized
that life can't simply be
everything I wanted,
pain and problem free.
But I'll work through it,
like I always do
and maybe someday my life
won't be quite so blue.
