Courage Or Foolishness Poem by Custous Angelus

Courage Or Foolishness

One starts with a big dream
Then as reality show its face many falls
But some retain their dreams
Is it courage or foolishness to challenge the reality?
Like knights on quest for the Holy Grail
Many are destined to fall
And naturally people will call them fools
But courage is often a synonym for foolishness
Challenging their dreams in the face of reality
It is neither courage nor foolishness
That bestows the power upon those brave knights
It is happiness
A power to not bite back when reality bites
Success or failure matters not
They are proud that they have pursued their dreams
Proud that they have pursued something that others did not
They are the ones with an unbroken spirit
