We gathered by the sea
Port Elliott it would be
Course 47 brothers each one
Remembering good times and having fun
The laughter and memories remain
Each of us changed but the same
It's 46 years since we started
And not one of us downhearted
The singing of the song was heard
Being here because we're here not absurd
The tune still ringing in our ears
Such laughter together did n't disappear
Then the Thursday night at the Elliott Hotel
Gathered together in fellowship we could tell
The bond together will remain
And as the years go by friends for life our acclaim.
