Covered in life's radiant light,
I bask in each fleeting moment,
unburdened by questions or doubts,
for the answers rest within.
No shadow dares to claim my soul,
nor does the darkness hold any sway,
for I walk in the light, free from fear,
where peace and love forever stay.
Living content is my chosen path,
a choice not always easy to make.
No doubt the heart finds peace
only in remembrance of Allah.
Yet in this quiet acceptance,
I find the strength my heart must take,
for I hear the verse resonating:
'O thou human being,
that hast attained to inner peace,
return thou unto thy Sustainer,
well-pleased, pleasing.
Enter, then, together with My servants;
yea, enter thou My paradise! '
Even when the road is steep,
and the winds of change blow strong,
I remain steadfast,
in the light of the verse:
'Verily, the steadfast shall have
their reward without measure.'
For contentment is where I belong.
