Covid-19 Poem by Sari Mavi

Covid-19

Beyond soap, water, and social distancing,
How do we stay spiritually well?

I am a believer and I pray 5 times a day
BUT at the same time I'm more at home and
I wash hands with soap when necessary.

I can't just gamble with my health and go to
places where I'm a little worried that there are
people sick with corona virus,

and Say, I'm Muslim and a believer nothing is
gonna happen to me.

You should take preacaution, sure.
Remember, PRAY, but TIE YOUR CAMEL.
The message is, as a believer, don't panic like the
rest of the world.

What's meant to hit you won't miss you and
What will miss you won't hit you..

So do well to keep the anxiety check, before it causes
someone else.

Salaam
