The cowboys are lined up
The bulls are ready too
To take the ride of their life
And believe me they’ll entertain you

Everyone’s hearts are beating hard
Will the cowboy win or the bull?
They didn’t have too much to eat
Didn’t want to feel too full

Eight seconds is a very long time
I’ll tell you when you are riding
And I’ll bet the bull feels it too
Trying to get that cowboy sliding

Persistence I guess is important
And it’s also the luck of the draw
Some of these bulls are clever
In the way they get the rider to fall

Yes, it’s truly a heart-stopping sport
But it is never ever dull
Sitting in the stands watching
As the cowboy vs the bull!
