Cowboy West Dreams Poem by Marnie O Brien

Cowboy West Dreams

Rating: 5.0

his head is down
his hat is dirty
his old black mare
barely picks up her hooves
and stumbles a little
and the bullet hole on
his sholder is inking
red still
on either side of the straight dust road
is sage brush and
grey skies
the two
have known each other
through cold nights
and hardworking days
and along this track
futher on
theyll die
together

wrote it down on a piece of paper which i lost so this is a s much as i can remember
