Cradle Wisdom Poem by Judy Hayes

I heard a preacher say one day

“The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”.

Oh, that she will rule through education

Not domination

Like arrows in her hand her offspring is released

Dispersed throughout the nations,

Influencing lives with her mantra and philosophy

Oh, that wisdom and Godly counsel govern her soul

So the message of her arrows will release

The antidote for the world’s ill

Not poison that slowly wound and

Destroy unsuspecting souls.
