Cradled By The Moon Poem by Melissa June

Cradled By The Moon

Lost, in lifes forest
Will I be found
Chilled, by the harsh winds gust
Is here, where I'm forever bound.
My path to freedom, covered by leaves
Once having hope, I now turn dreary
For the star that lights my way, decieves
I fall, from this forest I'll never be free.
Laying here, helplessly
Feeling soothed, by the nights tune
Eyes become droopy
As I am cradled, by the moon.
