Cravings Poem by April Humason

Cravings

My body wavers, torn between two,
Yet my heart favors only you.
Eyes wander, thoughts roam afar,
But my lips yearn for more, for your star.

Sleepless mind, restless nights,
Tongue lost in your sweetness, taking flights.
Ears may muffle, sounds may fade,
But my feelings, to you, cascade.

A broken soul, burdened and blue,
Yet my words find voice, speaking of you.
