Criminal, You Too Were A Man Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Criminal, You Too Were A Man

Criminal, you too were a man,
A father's son,
But bad company and bad habits
Brought you here
From where
As digressed and deviated you
In life
And fell you in bad company,
Eating, drinking, smoking
And making merry,
Which your father and mother had not,
Criminal,
You not a born criminal,
But as for your bad company,
Bad habits,
You a criminal.
