Crooked Politicians Poem by Paul Warren

Crooked Politicians

Rating: 5.0

There was a day when politicians were real
Deserving some trust when working a deal
They would do it all without favour or fear
But over the years there have been enough smears

With the latest Australian politician in Gaol
Who will do at least seven years without fail
Perhaps there needs to be oversee for them
To ensure they don't deal that's crooked in the end.

We do not trust our politicians today as much as we did a few decades ago. And the fault lies with our leaders not us. Instead of doing service, they are driven by self interest and short term gains. Thanks for sharing.
