The cross saw cuts deep into my soul,
As I watch the passion unfold,
With each strike and each blow,
My heart weeps, my tears flow.
I see the burden on His back,
As He carries the cross down the track,
The weight of our sins, He carries with grace,
With each step, pain etched on His face.
The crowd jeers, the soldiers mock,
But He remains steadfast as the rock,
For this is His purpose, His destiny,
To save us all, to set us free.
The cross saw pierces through His skin,
As the nails are driven in,
My heart aches, my spirit cries,
As I witness His sacrifice.
But as the cross is raised high,
My heart is filled with hope, not with sighs,
For I know that this is not the end,
His love, His mercy will forever transcend.
My Savior, my Redeemer, my only boss,
I am in awe of His love, His grace,
For in His death, I find my place,
The cross saw may have caused Him pain..
But through it, our salvation He did gain,
For on the third day, He rose again,
Our King of kings, our Savior, our friend,
So let us never forget the cross saw.
For in its shadow, our redemption we saw,
And may its message of love and sacrifice,
Always remain in our hearts,
Forever alive.
