Crosses Of Crassus Poem by Saiom Shriver

Crosses Of Crassus

It is not the Cross of Christ
but the crosses of Crassus
that warraging crucifiers
plot as summer fire.
God foil them now.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Crassus: the richest man in
ancient Rome.. who with Julius
