Crossings Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Crossings

Crossings

Phone in hand and coffee and in mouth
a bagel, sandwich
you keep low your head or simply walk
confident of the sides: "red is light."

No dear; be careful
open eyes; car is car
easily things go wrong.
