Cruelty Of The Past Poem by Lord Valadrius

Cruelty Of The Past

Rating: 5.0

I stand, a flickering silhouette of my past
When all I can see are her eyes
Caught in a moment of my lies...

Never was this meant to happen
Can thou forgive my selfish benight?
For never I knew the heart could be so cruel without you...

So many times I have wandered
Through the forest of my past
In search of what I crave,
Drowning in a maelstrom of sin's deprave...

I am forever lost
Only to be spied by thine eyes
Where comfort has come in crimson sighs...

Whilst the sun sets...

For thy love I am a slave
For thy grace I would embrace
For thy beauty is my bliss
In which I yearn for thy lithe kiss...

'Lo, my tears turn gray
So cold and alone,
Each memory casts a sombre stone...

My heart is so cold without you...

Solitude has come to haunt me,
As I walk through these frozen valleys
I weep for thee,
For in sadness I seek a marbled dove
And in rapture I unveil my grieving love...

My grieving love...

Imagery fantastic! The love so true beyond this life. To share such a love is to be graced by God.
