Sun on the dash, wind in our hair,
Cruisin' down the highway, not a single care.
Just me and my darling, side by side,
Miles melt away, a happy, easy ride.
Coffee was strong, in a place worn and old,
Stories whispered, brave and bold.
Now the road calls, a promise so sweet,
The Louisiana coast, where we'll rest our feet.
Maybe tomorrow, under skies so wide,
Find a little town, with the ocean as our guide.
Just us and the waves, a brand new day,
Happy to be together, along the way.
