Cry Poem by Bonnie Shipman

Cry

Waves
of challenge
demand I grow up
but don't tell me how.

Tears
as bitter as any I've cried
mirror the retraction
of my soul.

Questions,
unanswerable,
go to waste in my spinning
internal vastness.

How do I know
what to do?
