__________Crying Lullabies___________ Poem by Poetic Crisis

__________Crying Lullabies___________

Rating: 5.0

Hush little baby don't say a word,
God's got a knife to a mockingbird,
And if my knife do dare cut,
Would you cry or keep your mouth shut?
If your quiet i'll buy you a ring,
A sparkling diamond and treat you like a queen,
But if you cry it shall be your last,
For my knife will kill our past,
This is my lullaby,
To the girl who chose to cry,
I see her only in my dreams,
So for the past 7 years all i've done is sleep,
So many angels being stabbed,
Dreams are addicting when it's all you have...
