She cowards in the corner with the room well lit,
Gun in hand shes still considering it,
She takes her medicine til she feels numb,
Trying to forget what shes hiding from,
Calm and collect he becomes deceiving,
He has everyone left believing,
The cracks in her skin are cut and bleeding,
The animal inside begins the feeding...

Put the shot in his mouth as it feels like liquor,
Now he sees the blood and it tastes so bitter,
As he falls to the ground he begins to quiver,
Its clear what shes done and the end is near...

She cries lonely under the drenched sheets,
Because of him she can never leave,
He never cared just loved to drink,
When screaming becomes a normality,
The bottle will show no sympathy,
Just hoping one day she might be free,
There goes the girl we tried to keep...

But all she can see is the devil inside,
