Believe me when I say
it is not easy getting over you.
You walked away
so it is something I must do.

Each day gets harder
I try to hold my head high.
When nighttime falls
I am only telling myself a lie.

You did not care when you broke my heart.
I really never did matter.
You were a waste of time
our love was just a disaster.

Everything is worthless
as I try to let you go.
I am crying on the inside
but I will never that that show.
