I am the kind of girl
who dances in the rain.
I smile through the heartbreak
and laugh away the pain.

I live each day
as if it was my last.
Everything happens for a reason.
I learn from my past.

It taught me that love is sometimes deceiving
and words are mostly lies.
Now I live freely
without hiding in disguise.

I do not need someone to make me happy.
I do not have a care in the world.
Take chances and be a daredevil.
I am that kind of girl.
