Currents Poem by Martin Webb

Currents

Swimming through
the water of years,
thick and life-ful

I land marooned
upon a sweet isle
of memory

Then in a blinking moment

I am swept back
into the ocean

To drift wide as the horizon,
forever upon
eternity's waves
