Curry Leaves. Poem by H.Chandrasena De Silva

Curry Leaves.

Curry leaves.

There is one tree
Near to my fence
With many foliage
Called tree of curry

Many folks around
On their free will
Seize some petals
For aroma of curry

Corona appeared
Many dishes disappeared
Now petals non carry
Non cooking no curry

Just before day last
One lass appeared
Asked for some
Petals for curry

Oh, that's a good sign
It made me happy
There will be supper
Somewhere some kitchen

An interesting picture emerges from a gloomy background. Thank you Curry Leaves and Mr De Silva.
