Cursing Poem by William Kofoed

Cursing

The wind blows cold and hard
Blowing dust and leaves in your face
With the scent of rain to come
Cold and wet and touch of ice
Looking up and raising your fist
Cursing the clouds and sky so dark
Lighting flashes and thunder booms
Rain begins fast and cold
Wind blow the rain every where
In eyes and ears and down your neck
Wild with anger you shout again
Cursing storm and cold of night
Looking up and shaking fist
Your foot slips and down you fall
Lighting flashes and thunder roars
Cold wind still blows
Cold rain still falls
