Cut And Curtail Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Cut And Curtail

Well, a lot is happening there
In the world of entertainment
Differently different each time
Saying not bye-bye to midnight
Midnight feasts and parties.

Ailments, obesity and diabetes
Being result of the vicious circles
Comprising junk-food cravings-
Night times snaking and poor sleep
Negligent fitness and poor wellness
Addressing all ladies and gentlemen
Make sure, isn't it an effort to mollify
Appeasing its youth as young visitors.

Let's hear the songs and music
Music of eerie men and women
Mismatched in their lives-
A lot getting out of the way
At a point laughing and weeping
Dancing even to the odd noises
As such music is no music at all.

Not because it's customary to do so
But, as no one deserves it any more
Wait, all of you males and females
World gets critical to cut and curtail.
