Curtains Of The Night Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Curtains Of The Night

Rooting in metaphorically
Genius of the present day-
Nostalgia exploring the world
Of the abandoned relationships.

Exploding dreams and thoughts
Crushing emotions and sentiments
As if, a huge ship ploughs the ocean
Or an aeroplane is irrigating the blue sky.

The irony of the time is that-
Killings of delicate and subtle relations
Haunts destroying peace and tranquillity
Wou'd go on stinging for centuries to come.

Present creamy lyre-
Sowing low quality seeds in the fields
In lieu aspiring for rich crops of wheat!

Some people opine consequent upon-
Better, to be happily-unmarried
Than being unhappily married.

Thus, a genius kind as such-
Lifting the curtains of the night.
