Daddy Don'T You Remember Poem by Stephanie Agudo

Daddy Don'T You Remember

Rating: 5.0

Daddy don't you remember
The fights on the phone
Daddy don't you remember
The nights she spent alone
Her tears may fall
But you do not care
Cause you are the one
That made us scared
Daddy don't you forget
You’ve wasted all the chances that you get
Daddy don't you forget
Makes us something you won’t regret
Daddy don't you remember
The tears that she shed
Daddy don't you remember
Mommy’s neck it was so red
At night I pray
To a god not there
Cause I ask for hope
But there is none to share
Daddy now you know
Why it’s hard to go to bed
Daddy now you know
All the harsh things you’ve said
Daddy listen to me please
now it’s time that I wipe my tears
You shouldn’t be something I should fear
Daddy listen to me please
Try to grow up and be a man
A hand is the one thing you don’t raise to a woman
