Dagger Poem by Darlan M Cunha

Dagger

To add is an old verb
inconceivable attitude
nowadays
there is no good time
anywhere
under any pretext
is not used more,
because adding up is harmful
thing of religions
backwardness of life
in a society
that only knows how to listen to orders
from the Mother of Haste: subtract.
In her mouth a dagger.
