Damage Done Poem by sophia phelps

Damage Done

Rating: 5.0

It was mine to damage and yours to find,
I thought my past would remain buried
but your truth infected my heart and mind.
My past will always linger with you there to point the shaming finger.
I will always regret and you will never forget.

Changes have been made and yet still you can't suppress your rage,
your hatred for my past procrastinates but let me be your teacher and teach your head to follow your heart, to anticipate our future and try to release my past!
