Damaged Poem by Timmy Tubbs

Damaged

Things never changed
I struggle
My feet dangling
I’m hanged
And your hands are as course as a noose

Promises were never kept
I placed my hope in us
Somehow it transformed into guilt
And a brick wall was built
It bruises his heart to try and wonder why

Reasons were always lies
They’re the ones that turn these rhymes
Honesty is a hard thing for you
But I think you should try
Because the other guys hold what is mine

And now my mornings are so blue
You pretend to wonder why
And it’s just salt in my eyes
Because I see right through you
So why does my wall crack everytime you cry

i read your PH bio. your life sounds ok. i wonder if you are still alive and look at PH, as your last submission was years ago. relationships sure can be touch-and-go, and a big pain in the neck at times. i wish you well (in case this poem is about you) . bri :)
