Damned Poem by Casey Brailsford

Damned

May we be damned for the rest of our days
For our sinister, cruel and wicked ways
For wrath, lust, sloth, gluttony, pride and greed
For these are sins on which we feed
To fuel our fiery hate and rage
And trap ourselves in a bloody cage
We smash and bash against the bony bars
Until we see those cursed stars
Then we explode into a destructive wrath
And burn anything that dares come in our path
We expect forgiveness to be at our door
Even when there's a body lying on the floor
We deserve to be damned for the rest of our days
For our sinister cruel and wicked ways
