Dance Poem by Blackregret Rose

Dance

If only we were closer,
If only she was here today.
I hope right now,
She's dancing her heart out.
Being her.
I hope she sings because this time,
It's true.
No one can hear her.
She could be tone deaf,
People would pay to hear her voice.
I hope she's watching us,
And I know she is.
Tomorrow I will play that game.
And I will dance.
I will dance and everyone will watch.
Carbon copy will dance.
We will dance until tomorrow.
We will repeat.
They can watch.
But, my dear neighbor,
I will dance.
