Dance With The Wind Poem by Prachi Agrawal

Dance With The Wind

Looking around and feeling my world
I was thinking about my worth
Didn’t know how to believe on time
I was invited on cloud nine.

Dressed up in white flowing gown
And by walking on the rainbow
I reached a beautiful town
And it was just wow.

I was taken to a castle
By a never seen wonder
I stood and waited there
Until called by the sound of thunder.

All the stars and all the clouds
Present there were wearing crown
The silver moon and the golden sun
Were sitting there and having fun.

I was more than surprised
When someone played a reprise
All of them knew me by name
Seemed like they were all my friends.

Then after a melodious sound
It felt like I was bound
By the unknown charm of prince
Couldn’t believe it was the wind.

The wind invited me to dance
It was my lucky chance
Living in a magical day
I was part of a fairytale.

Now it was time to leave
So soon couldn’t believe
The prince gave me a pearl
Telling me-“it is for you my girl.”

As I closed my eyes for a while
Everyone there just smiled
Now I was back on earth
In my hands was that pearl.

I was the happiest of all
Singing and dancing all alone
Thanks everyone in that world
Thank you prince for that pearl.
