Dancing With The Death Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Dancing With The Death

The life's returning
Like everything else-
Stitching a new future
But, not for everyone-
In the post Covid-19 world!

Entire fancy stuff is over-
It seems marking shift towards
Natural hues and comfort colours
Materialising the socialistic changes
May be for the global cause and effect.

No special initiative-
‘Kalyuga' an era of lot of mayhem
Courting innumerable controversies
Friends and fellow poets decoding nature!

Creator-artiste rooting in the new-
And rooting out the old and traditional
Taking the culture forward in right direction
Confusing thereby gun culture and violence!

What about humanity, its killer-
People helplessly loving to hate it
Ideally finding melody and rhythm
Learning how to live just, for today!

A note perfectly tuned in
The best is yet to come out-
Let's obey the order of the day
What a dancing with the death!
