Dark Night Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Dark Night

It was a dark night
In the bright day light
Present both in the sky
The Moon and the Sun
A night of horrors
And pains
With light hopes
Blinding flickers
Dazzling so bright
Dreadful lightening
Falsifying
Every one's assert
Unfathomed
In wildest dreams.

Elevating
The moments
Out of a little time
Of chills and thrills
Carries on
The way world walks.
Everything-
Went happening
Unimpeded unheeded
Consciously
Being watched
Throughout
The pitch dark
Of the black night
In bright day light.
Everything
Occurred itself
Standing
Though, not by it.

Delighted:
Yet, telling the world
That it's nice to take
Take a short while off
To have eternal rest
Instead of spending
The whole of life
Nervously excited.
