Dangerous Friendship Poem by Amanda Deupree

Dangerous Friendship

Rating: 5.0

The kiss that lingered on my lips
The lust that held me in its grips
The moments that fleetingly passed
A dream that has been un-masked

To talk and to reminisce
To daydream of one more kiss
A friendship held in place
By keeping lust in a case

To look back and remember you
Watching and awaiting cues
A price to pay and love to lose
So we do not abuse

You walk away and so do I
Both knowing what we deny
A better life we have apart
Coming forth to a new start

Sometimes the divide is what decides what a friendship really means to us. Eloquent Poem.
