The Drowning Poem by Amanda Deupree

The Drowning

Floods of tears roll down her cheeks
like a faucet
trapped inside it has been weeks
she's lost it
Pain wells up the dam will break
fears colliding
How much more can she take
now shes hiding
Still it finds her pulls her down
now it's come
And then it is time to drown
no time to run
