Dangerous People Poem by Abdul Wahab

Dangerous People

You may heard of a bird that resides in your heart
Its colour is blue to some, red is to few
But grey to maximum that goes out and in without your control
Its name is unknown to some one
But to few it is hope that perches on boughs
Then it is obvious that you have a tree inside
And a tree cannot grow without soil
And the soil is the bank of a river
And the river streams away with a sweet sound, mummer
Now the image looks like a jungle
The name of a jungle may lead you to think of monsters
And in this world there is no one who does not fear that beast
Those who do not concur with the idea of plant
Then they must think that their heart is a cage
In that cage lives not only a bird but also a serpent
Of which the bird is frightened off
And again I have to tell you that in this world
There is none who does not fear a snake
But to tell you the truth
I fear not any animals of the jungle including dragons and monsters
I fear people
Especially those who does not recognize and confess
Having in them inside either the snake or the monster
The reason is obvious
They are more dangerous than the above mentioned beasts.
