Dangling Thoughts Poem by Habib A. Zakari

Dangling Thoughts

Time comes when we are bounded
we become tied by two choices
One pointing here and another there
We get tangled in thoughts unresolved
To quit or not to quit we think
like pendulum our thinking sway here and there

Then the straight way we may look crook
And good the bent way may look
But it pays to rule our minds
And Look beyond how we've once failed
It pay to not fold our spirits wings
The route leading there is still a route we could thread

Ah so, is it poetry or prose? The title was alluring yet did not fulfill the promise. Adeline
