Johns brains rained down blood and gore
As Jackie began to scream
We watched on a grassy knoll
Eating butterscotch ice cream
You turned to me and smiled
Under pink rimmed sunglasses
And said wistfully to the ether
"I wish this feeling never passes"
We wondered through old Dresden
When the allies burned her down
Dancing through streets of fire
As buildings fell to the ground
And I held your cold sweet hand
In the crater of a city
As a million bodies piled
My god you were so pretty
And we watched the Romanovs
With the terror in their eyes
When the Bolsheviks came madly
To extinguish their rotten lives
You giggled when poor Alexi
Begged wounded for some mercy
And I knew then that I loved you
In both faith and heresy
In the boxing day rebellion
We saw the clash of nations
Heard the screams of missionaries
And the end of old foundations
You twirled around the fires
In this empire of death
But your beauty was so pure
And left me out of breath
And wherever we may roam
Where suffering is always bound
I know I've found a home
In that black heart I am found
Lets sit and have some popcorn
And watch the last apocalypse
If it means in that last second
I get your eternal kiss
Delight is worth the pain of life
When love is found in sufferings toll
For you are worth a million hells
By being that heaven in my soul

What an odd, yet intriguing love poem, Kevin.
