Dark Heaven Poem by Mana Kavingyan

Dark Heaven

I woke up in the morning.
I felt refreshed
I forgot yesterday
Not intoxicated
Dark figures sang a lullaby
Blankets were a ticket to the dark.
The sleep that kept me awake at night as of now
Separates me from the present
New
Today is born
When I see sunlight
