Dark Mistress Poem by Oritsemolebi Eric Atie

Dark Mistress

On and on she goes
With a shining glow,
A dark effigy of Helen
Has got me falling.
On and on she goes
Causing a striking blow,
making me go dizzy
On seeing her glory

The darkness of the evening
Is the color of her cheeks,
The onset of the morning
Is her beautiful lips.
Her smile;
Like shock waves,
Stretching out for miles
Seeking whom to enslave

She is darkened by her mother's touch,
Strengthened from her hard labor.
On and on it glows;
Her deep brown eyes,
like a thousand thunder bolt
paralyzing every sinews of my heart.
her style is alluring
And her ways luring.

she is clothed with beeds
found in ocean's deep,
Her anklet chums melodiously
As she moves vigorously.
On and on she goes
With her waxed brows,
Making me crave
just by her fiery gaze.
